Working Principle
AUTOOL smoke leak detector adopts forced combustion and smoke generation in a low-oxygen environment. The heating wire is energized through conductive columns, rapidly heating to above 300°C, causing the mineral oil to reach its ignition point and enter a combustion state. Due to the small intake flow, there is insufficient oxygen to maintain complete combustion, so combustion primarily occurs on the surface of the heating wire. The mineral oil residues, under high-temperature heating, cannot fully combust around the heating wire, resulting in the production of a large amount of smoke.
AUTOOL SDT205 Vacuum Leak Tester Features
Air Mode: Allows leak diagnosis through the pressure gauge without emitting smoke.
Smoke Mode: Equipped with a separately controlled smoke generator. Once a leak is detected, this mode can be activated to accurately pinpoint the leak point.
Quick leak diagnosis through pressure display:
No leak: If the pressure gauge reading remains stable, it indicates no leak in the pipeline system.
Minor leak: If the pressure gauge reading slightly decreases, it suggests a minor leak in the pipeline system.
Severe leak: If the pressure gauge reading drops to zero, it indicates a severe leak in the pipeline system.
Overheat and freeze protection: The AUTOOL SDT205 Vacuum Leak Tester is equipped with the latest intelligent protection device. When the equipment temperature exceeds 75°C, the power protection system will automatically shut off to ensure the safety of both the operator and the equipment. It only supports 12V car battery.
Liquid drain port: After all tests are completed, the liquid drain port helps to discharge any remaining oil for recycling. This effectively prevents the test oil from staying in the machine for an extended period, which could cause corrosion to the machine.

Operating Instructions
1. Inject 10 milliliters of baby oil into the detector for the first time. Open the hood and hang the detector on the hood.
2. Disconnect the pipeline that needs to be connected to the detector.
3. Connect the detector to a DC12V battery, turn on the power switch, and the detector will begin to operate.
4. After approximately 30 seconds, the pipeline will be filled with smoke. Check for leak points. Use a headlamp if necessary.
