AUTOOL BT960 Automotive Battery Tester Features

Seven Testing Functions: The AUTOOL BT960 offers seven major testing functions: lithium battery test, lead-acid battery test, cranking test, charging test, load test, voltage measurement, and current measurement. It can accurately measure important parameters such as battery voltage, cold cranking amps, resistance, and more. By analyzing these measurements, the tester allows for quick assessment of the battery’s health, remaining battery capacity, as well as its charging and discharging capabilities.
0-80V Voltage Test: Supports voltage measurements for 6V, 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 60V, and 72V, making it suitable for testing most 12V and 24V car batteries as well as motorcycle batteries available on the market.

Lithium Battery Test: The AUTOOL BT960 lithium battery tester meets the testing needs of various battery types. It supports testing of iron lithium batteries, polymer lithium batteries, ternary lithium batteries, and other types of batteries. After testing, it accurately displays the present voltage, current, resistance, and battery capacity value.

Battery Leakage Monitoring: It can quickly and accurately monitor changes in the battery’s output current, effectively detecting any leakage, reducing energy loss, and extending the battery’s lifespan.

Real-time Temperature Monitoring: The optimal working temperature for batteries is 20°C-25°C. At lower or higher ambient temperatures, the battery is affected to varying degrees. Real-time temperature detection ensures accurate battery testing under different conditions, saving both time and money.’

Multiple Safety Protections: Equipped with reverse polarity protection, insulated test clips, and anti-leakage features. In case of incorrect positive and negative connections during testing, the circuit can be cut off, protecting both the tester and the battery from damage.

Multiple Languages: 14 languages are available for selection, including English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and German. It also supports Italian, Russian, Turkish, Thai, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Polish.

Battery Tester with Printer: No need to carry an additional printer. The device comes with a built-in thermal printing function, allowing you to set details such as license plate, date, and serial number. You can print test results anytime and anywhere after completing the test.

HD Color Display: Equipped with a 3.2-inch color display, resistant to external environmental factors, offering a great visual experience, with clear viewing of test results from different angles.

Detailed Functional Design: When measuring different types and specifications of batteries, the battery specification chart provides clear parameter values for accurate assessment of battery issues. The voltage waveform graph displays real-time voltage changes during the measurement process, offering intuitive voltage dynamic information.

Three-Year Warranty: Lifetime Maintenance: For damage caused by non-human factors, AUTOOL promises to resend parts for free within 3 years. If you have any problems, please contact us, and we will respond within 24 hours!

AUTOOL BT960 Automotive Battery Tester Operating Instructions

Connection Guide

Connect the Battery: Attach the red test clip to the positive terminal of the battery and the black test clip to the negative terminal. Ensure the clips are securely connected. The tester will not start if connected incorrectly, preventing damage to the device or battery.’

Install Dry Batteries: If the battery voltage is too low, install 4 AAA batteries in the battery compartment of the battery load tester. After installation, turn on the power, and the display will show the available test options.

Test Tutorial

Select battery type: After entering the corresponding test program, select the battery type, then choose the test standard and battery rated value. Press <OK> to start the test.

Start testing: The tester will display “Testing… Please wait!” Upon completion, the tester will show the battery’s health status, voltage, cold cranking amps, remaining battery capacity, and other results.

Cranking/Charging/Load test

Cranking Test: Start the engine and wait for 15 seconds. The load battery tester will display the results.

Charging Test: After starting the engine, press <OK> to begin the test and view the charging system results.

Load Test: Turn on all electrical devices and start the engine. Press <OK> to begin the test and view the load test results.

Voltage Test: Enter the voltage measurement program, then press <OK> to start or stop the voltage waveform display.
