Working Principle

AUTOOL smoke leak detector adopts forced combustion and smoke generation in a low-oxygen environment. The heating wire is energized through conductive columns, rapidly heating to above 300°C, causing the mineral oil to reach its ignition point and enter a combustion state. Due to the small intake flow, there is insufficient oxygen to maintain complete combustion, so combustion primarily occurs on the surface of the heating wire. The mineral oil residues, under high-temperature heating, cannot fully combust around the heating wire, resulting in the production of a large amount of smoke.

Two Testing Modes: Air Mode / Smoke Mode.

Rapid Pipeline Leak Detection: Supports testing the leakage of various pipeline systems, including automotive intake systems, EVAP systems, exhaust systems, and engines.

Overheat Protection: Prevents dry burning with an alarm indicator light. Automatically stops operation if the temperature exceeds 75°C.

Power Source: Operates on DC12V power with built-in air pump to suit different working conditions.

Large Smoke Output Volume: Generates smoke within 5 seconds; working pressure can exceed 1 bar, with a smoke flow rate <6L/min. Can produce a large amount of smoke within 30 seconds to locate leaks.

Smoke Flow Meter Window: Allows adjustment of smoke flow rate through a rotary knob.

Oil Drain Valve: Recovers residual smoke oil after use, promoting environmental friendliness and enabling reuse of test oil.

Visual Pressure Gauge: Monitors the pressure state of the pipeline system through the gauge to detect potential leaks.

Wide Application Range: Suitable for all types of vehicles, including passenger cars, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, snowmobiles, and speedboats.

Operating Instructions

1. Inject 10 milliliters of baby oil into the detector for the first time. Open the hood and hang the detector on the hood.

2. Disconnect the pipeline that needs to be connected to the detector.

3. Connect the detector to a DC12V battery, turn on the power switch, and the detector will begin to operate.

4. After approximately 30 seconds, the pipeline will be filled with smoke. Check for leak points. Use a headlamp if necessary.
